After yesterday's traffic jam at Kanaha I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Sprecks at 11am today to find absolutely no-one there. Result...although I was a tad apprehensive about sailing a new beach all by myself. Nevertheless I rigged 5.2, got out there and in spite of my fears had a great first hour. Perfectly powered on plentiful nice boom highers all to myself. The wind soon started to pick up so after a break for lunch I changed down to 4.5 and was STACKED. It was too windy to be really enjoyable (easily 4.0 weather) plus the swell was dropping off so not ideal conditions but I made the most of them. Just as I was thinking about packing up a tad prematurely housemates Marc and Arthur turned up for a late afternoon session. It would have been rude not to have joined them for one last hour...so I did.

So that has ticked off Sprecks on my exploration of beaches from west to east. Next on the list - Baby Beach.
